I will be performing and competing in this year’s Final Four competition at Caroline’s on Broadway! 64 comics enter and one emerges victorious…My good friends Nate Bargatze and Dan Soder have won in previous years so I am hoping that some of their luck will rub off on me. Pretty psyched! I won this past week’s edition of The Comic Strip Live’s Lottery Show! Pretty awesome concept. 6 Comedians perform for a live audience and a panel of judges. My judges were comedians Artie Lange, Vic Henley, and Cory Kahaney…also on the panel were Comic Strip owner Richie and booker/manager JR. Each comic performs for 3-5 minutes and after our sets the panel basically just shits on us…(you can watch this live every week at the club or on Ustream!) Then at the end of the show the audience chooses their favorite comic of the night! Last Tuesday that comic happened to be me. Fuck. Yeah. This means I am passed to perform late nights at the world famous Comic Strip Live!

I’m fucked. Anyway, that’s kind of a lie. I had a really shitty one that some dude made for me but I never told anyone about it. Look how hilarious it was.

It was like my love child that I didn’t want anyone to know about. Now that my illegitimate website has been put out of its misery I am psyched to officially launch this bad boy! I am going to use this blog as a way to communicate about all of the cool shit going down in my career!

It’s gonna be a big year. My podcast Hammerfisting is back in a big way with my co-hosts Vic and Mike Ford! We are recording TWO TIMES per week starting next week! And (this is HUGE) we will be at the Bellator Featherweight Finals on August 20th covering the action and hopefully getting a bunch of interviews with fighters. Check out the latest episode of my podcast in my side bar at the right.

Other BIG news, our pilot script “Legion of Skanks” that I wrote with my boys Big Jay Oakerson and Dave Smith was accepted into a show at Just For Laughs Montreal so it is going to be pitched in front of a bunch of networks!! Fuckin’ sick! More on that as it happens.

And lastly I just booked a really cool show at a loft space on 26th st Btwn Broadway and 6th aves in Manhattan. Show is going to be sick…Thursday JULY 28, 2011 10pm NO COVER NO DRINK MINIMUM..So far Kurt Metzger, Nate Bargatze, and myself are performing but i’ll get the whole line up and a flyer out this week!
